Governor Nixon signed into law a bill that revises the Missouri Mechanic’s Lien Law


The Governor signed both HB 2058, which was the stand-alone version of the law, and also HB 1692, which contained other topics and the same lien law language from 2058 was in 1692. The lien law changes will occur November 1. Thanks to those of you who contacted the Governor’s office to urge him to sign the legislation as this is good for all entities with an interest in the lien law!
