Suburban Journals Presents the Apple Dessert Contest
Twelve local bakers and apple lovers will compete in the 2nd Annual Apple Dessert Contest at the Builders Home & Remodeling Show. There will be six finalists in each of two categories: Apple Pies and Apple Desserts. Finalists were chosen from entries submitted to the Suburban Journals. Prizes and ribbons will be awarded for the top three places in each category.
Come to the show on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1 p.m. to watch the fun! A panel of celebrity judges will taste all twelve desserts and determine the winners. The panel will be made up of members of the Home Builders Association of St. Louis, representatives from Mills Apple Farm, presenter of the Mills Apple Festival and others.
Show visitors who attend the judging on Sunday will be able to take home all twelve of the delicious recipes chosen as finalists in the contest, so you can try the recipes yourself at home.
